  • Favorite MSU Memory/Why you love MSU: Michigan State University was one of the best times of my life. I loved the energy and diversity. I remembered taking walks from the Library to the Union and being astounded by the beautiful landscape.

  • What your vision is for MSUBA: My vision for MSUBA is to bridge the gap between students and recent graduates with seasoned alumni. I would like for us to also provide resources and a sense of community for all Spartans.

  • What you like to do in your free time: In my free time, I enjoy event planning, traveling, and spending time with my loved ones.

  • Occupation: Case Manager at Focus Hope, Detroit, MI

  • Favorite MSU Memory/Why you love MSU: My favorite memory has to be walking across campus in the morning, checking out the trees in the fall.  I love MSU so much because it allowed me to develop into who I am, make so many friends, and prepare myself for my future!

  • What your vision is for MSUBA: My vision is to be a resource for networking and opportunity for past graduates, new graduates, and incoming students who can benefit from us.

  • What you like to do in your free time: I enjoy hanging with my friends, traveling, and going to MSU football/basketball games!

  • Occupation: Higher Education Administrator

  • Favorite MSU Memory/Why you love MSU: I've made the best life long lasting friendships from MSU! It was one of the best decisions I've made in my life.

  • What your vision is for MSUBA: My vision is to see more members join MSUBA sooner after graduation. It's important to stay connected and to give back. Also for more high school students to be aware of the scholarship opportunities upon arriving to MSU.

  • What you like to do in your free time: I love to travel, work out and read!

 

 

 

 

 

Arica Jones  - Chapter Secretary

  • Occupation:  Internal Auditor. Completed Certified Internal Auditor designation in 2018.

  • Favorite MSU Memory/Why you love MSU: When President Obama visited campus in 2007/2008 during his first campaign.

  • What your vision is for MSUBA: To increase membership and awareness; to further engage MSU Black Alumni and supporters in the organization

  • Occupation: Junior Art Director 

  • Favorite MSU Memory/Why you love MSU: Football games, Spartan Ice cream, and when I study abroad in Florence Italy.

  • What is your vision for MSUBA:  To have resources for upcoming graduate students by helping them attain employment by having career workshops that help with job searching, resume and cover letter preparation, networking, interview preparation, and more.  

  • What you like to do in your free time: I mentor middle and high
    school girls at Cornerstone Academy Q.U.E.E.N.S. and Princess Program, painting, make pottery, watch movies, play videogames and do freelance graphic design work, and travel

  • What your vision is for MSUBA: Building our endowment to fund multiple scholarships annually
